The first page of text is numbered 13. Pages 37 – 72 are unopened. 8vo; publisher’s original stamped cloth binding. Covers soiled and loosened but holding. Two engravings are out of place: “Giants in Guildhall” should be at page 262, but is found at page 264, and “Fools Morris Dance” should be at page 270, but is found at page 268. “Hearne’s Descent into Hell” is a fold-out plate. Internally, a bright, clean partially unopened copy.
