[n.d.] 8 pages, numbered on the recto only, a circular vignette on the title page, with eight woodcut illustrations on the verso of each page. Page two is a list of stations and distances from New York to Albany and from Albany to Buffalo.

A strip map, in hand-colored lithography, 272 cm x 14.5 cm, bound in a thick brown paper wrapper with an oval vignette of the Hudson River showing river steamers, sailboats and a train running along the shore, with the abbreviated title Map of the Hudson River. Via New York Central and Hudson River R. R. on the front cover. Each of the folded 24 sections has a woodcut advertisement for a hotel, spa or farm machinery on the verso. Two of the hotel advertisements date the map to 1886. The condition is generally very good, the hand-coloring still bright, with some slight insect damage on the edge of the bottom panel. A copy was found at the Wisconsin Historical Society. Not in Haskell.
