This book was dedicated to Constance Mary Wilde, and consisted of four “beautiful tales”, to wit: The Young King, The Birthday of the Infanta, The Fisherman and His Soul, The Star-Child. On page six of this edition, there is a dedication of The Young King to Margaret, Lady Brooke. The Star-Child is dedicated here to Miss Margot Tennant. The titlepage is printed in red and black ink. A blue silk bookmark is still present. An ownership signature of Margit Strasser dated 1911 is on the titlepage. Bound in a woven straw binding of red, yellow, dark green, light green and ecru. Fine.
