Resewn, but not over-sewn, and rebound in full black morocco with five raised bands. Top edge of the text block was trimmed slightly for gilding, the rest of the page is untrimmed. The text-illustrations are all numbered and signed “Drawn & Etched by Rowlandson”; and, all are bound in where designated by the publisher on the top right-hand corner above the etching frame. Plates 3, 5, 7 and 8 were trimmed of “London: Pub. Feby. 1.1815 by P. Martin, 198 Oxford Street.” Plate 4 states “L. Martin” instead of P. Martin. A magnificent copy. Tooley, 417; Abbey Life, 378.
