Branch Office, Flatiron Building, New York. Little Falls, New York: [1918]. 55 pages. 24.5 cm x 19 cm. The front cover of trade catalogue 817 has a vignette of the factory in Little Falls and mentions the branch office located in the Flatiron Building in New York City. There is a World War I era stamp on the front cover, upper right-hand corner that reads as follows: “NOTICE / Owing to the greatly increased / cost of materials and labor, we / have been obliged to advance the /prices on our bookcases 30 per cent; / advance to take effect Oct. 1, 1918.” A very popular and fashionable manufacturer of Mission Design bookcases and desks, Lundstrom stamped the Style H, illustrated on pages 54 and 55 as “discounted.” A loose plate of the Lundstrom bookcases in a private home is laid in at page 35 before “Sizes and Prices.” The front cover is slightly soiled, with minor chipping on the right-hand edge, otherwise fine.
