Tea at the Signorina Fabbri. Artist’s proof,  a colored etching, signed, “Mel Silverman,” and dated “1965” in graphite below the image. Following his training at Chicago’s Art Institute, Mel Silverman was given a fellowship to travel in Europe for a year. His children’s book illustrations and his works on paper establish him as a major American talent despite his early death. Condition is fine.
