Sheet 35 cm x 35.5 cm, inset with royal vignettes of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, 21 cm x 22 cm. A colored paper place mat with a floral border of pink Tudor Roses, within which are the heads of the King and Queen, followed by the listing of everyone in the Procession of seven carriages plus the Royal State Coach. This very ephemeral souvenir survived folded up in a book, with the expected creases. Otherwise, it is as it was on October 25, 1902. The Coronation of Edward VII was originally scheduled for June 1902, but an emergency surgery for an abdominal abscess postponed the event to August 9, 1902. This procession was a substituted event as the many foreign delegations in London in June had returned home, turning the procession commemorated by this souvenir into a domestic event, even with the participation of Queen Alexandra’s relations. This second procession had been postponed until Edward VII was well enough to participate on October 25, 1902
