Originally issued as a 3-volume set, rebound here in 6 volumes, half-brown morocco on light-brown cloth. Gilt edges all around. Silk bookmarks. Binder’s tag of Myers & Co., New Bond Street, London W1 in each volume. Each volume has an ink presentation gift inscription: “To Ivy, With love from Dad and Mum. Christmas 1934.” First volume has a preface, biography, appendix with Shakespeare’s will and a preliminary note about the folio of 1623, commendatory verses, as well as an addendum and a corrigenda [lxviii]. Fine.
