Both reprinted by C. Whittingham at the Chiswick Press, 1819 and 1818, respectively. There are two editions of Cornu-copiae, the first from 1612, the second from 1623. The text of this reprint is taken from a comparison of both of those editions. A view of the bank-side of the Globe Theatre is on the title page. 8vo, [viii; 119 pages; printer’s device on verso of p. 119; 40 pages ; final blank] Initial and final blanks foxed, but text block is bright and clean. Bound in quarter burgundy morocco on marbled boards, gilt lettering on spine: “Ancient Humorous Poetry.”. Binding has been bumped but is secure. A very good copy.
