Ramsgate Souvenir Mechanical Postcard. A mailing novelty, featuring a pink crab with a lift-up tab that reveal twelve black-and-white views of Ramsgate, the seaside town in east Kent, England, circa 1920, with the title, “Am clinging to Dear Old RAMSGATE,” and verse “Just leave the crab, / And look behind,/ Twelve lovely Views,/ You will find.” Only the address and postage were allowed for the “printed paper postage rate” to apply. Condition is fine. 3 ½ in x 5 3/8 in.
