This copy signed on the front cover by George A. Anderson, Class of 1860. An outline of the curriculum for four years, identifying the professors for each course in this rigorous four-year classical education. Lists of each class start with the seniors (88), juniors (92), sophomores (81), and freshmen (51). There is a prohibition against secret societies. The costs for an academic year were from $57.00 to $66.00. In the “Recapitulation” are listed one student from Wales and Hindoustan respectively, as well as students from 25 states and the Choctaw Nation. Two copies are recorded at the Keller Library in New York and at the American Antiquarian Society. Condition good, with slight damp staining to the covers.
