The “Hartford” Heater and Purifier for Condensing Engines. For “Davis” Duplex Power Pumps for Better feed and special purposes. No. 125 North Fourth Street. Philadelphia, Pa. A typed letter typed with a purple ink ribbon, signed by James Berryman, dated August 20, 1895. Mr. Berryman assures a customer of a refund for a pump “if it does not prove satisfactory.” Berryman then gives the specifics of the testing before the pump left his factory and asks A. H. Twichell of the Clifton Manufacturing Company to follow the instructions outlined in a previous letter. An illustrated letterhead, showing two of Berryman’s products. Two punch holes at the top of the letter do not affect the text. Condition very good.
