Historical Collections of the State of New Jersey: Containing a General Collection of the Most Interesting Facts, Traditions, Biographical Sketches, Anecdotes, etc. Relating to Its History and Antiquities, with Geographical Descriptions of Every Township in the State Illustrated by 120 Engravings. New York: Published for the Authors by S. Tuttle, 194 Chatham-Square, 1844. First edition, 512 pages, 23 cm, double frontispiece, hand-colored of “Battle of Princeton” and “Victory at Trenton.” Rebound in full modern brown cloth, gilt titled spine, page edges marbled, this copy has some damp staining and is signed and dated by New Jersey photographer – author Elizabeth G.C. Menzies in 1963. Only in fair condition, a first edition of this classic source of New Jersey history.
