GIOVINEZZA! Italian Fascist Hymn Signed by the Composer Giuseppe Blanc

$450.00

This is a souvenir edition featuring the newer lyrics of Salvator Gotta, commissioned by Mussolini, with the lyrics published on the verso of the front cover, opposite a history of the hymn by Cesare Maria de Vecchi di Val Cismon, 1925. Published with a musical variant of four bars, variante alla 5a 6a 7a e 8a battuta del ritornello, with the composer’s avviso: “Non vendibile separato dall’Edizione di Piano e Canto.” With Carisch’s advertisement for other “official” musical titles. A copy with a slightly soiled front cover, this is a remarkably well-preserved, signed copy of the official Italian Fascist hymn.
