[ii; 28 pages; ii] First printed in Denver in 1882, when Field was the editor of the Denver Tribune, as 24mo, bound in pink paper, a 50 copy edition. In 1882, The Model Primer was published by Fred Tardwell, Brooklyn, N.Y., in 16mo with paper covers, containing selections from The Tribune Primer. This edition is believed to be the scarce third printing. Fair condition, internal hinges cracking.
