This copy is still in the publisher’s wrappers, with the undistributed plates bound in the front of Volume I, still awaiting the binder’s distribution throughout the text. Volume I of this copy signed by John Weatherhead Darby and by Thomas Wright. Volume II signed only by Thomas Wright. Slight foxing of the index at the end of Volume I, and the endpapers of Volume II. A bright, untrimmed copy. Introductory pages and plates up to signature B of Volume I have come unsewn. Foot of front hinge on Vol. II cracked but holding.
