Bound in 18th century polished vellum with gilt morocco labels, marbled end papers, silk headbands, front hinge on volume one has an 11 cm crack but is holding. Covers to all three volumes are warped. Interior text blocks near fine. Pencil signature of B. F. Stein, dated 1919 in all three volumes. Bookseller’s embossed stamp S. Drayton & Son, Exeter on front fly-leaves of Vols. I & II, and on the half-title of Vol. III. Vol. I has an additional superimposed ink stamp of William George, 26 Park Street, School & [illegible] Books. Lowndes, II: p. 1017a: “Crown 8vo 3 vols. Willet, 1101, 16s.—1793.
