[Dance Card, Edinburgh 1896] A Lady’s Dance Card with Attached Pencil for a Reception and Dance of The Right Honorable The Lord Provost & Mrs. McDonald, Friday, 14th February 1896. Unused. Sixteen dances were played in the Assembly Halls and in the Music Hall, listing the musical selections played by Mr. H. Dambmann’s Band and by the Band of the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons, conducted by Mr. J. Prosser. Sir Andrew McDonald was the Lord Provost of Edinburgh from 1894 to 1896. 11.5 cm, ecru with embossed gilt  arms, red lettering for Valentine’s Day, with a matching red pencil and tasseled string. Printed by Geo. Stewart & Co., Edinburgh. Fine.
